We do not offer general tax preparation services during filing season/on a regular basis. We do however offer preparation services for clients who retain us for tax debt solutions and have unfiled years.

NO EMPLOYEE OF HAZLEWOOD AND ASSOCIATES ARE ATTORNEYS NOR ARE ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES ADMITTED TO THE FEDERAL TAX BAR. If there is a need for a tax attorney to get involved, Hazlewood and Associates will refer you to a reputable tax attorney. Hazlewood and Associates, LLC is comprised of individuals who have attended an accredited college or university, obtained a degree, studied and become experts dealing with tax issues. 

At the end of the day, cost matters. Each person wants/needs to know how much a service or product will cost them. While we cannot tell you an exact price for any of our services, we can assure you that our fees are very competitive and below the industry standard. We certainly understand how frustrating this can be. Everything one has to renew such as vehicle tags etc., meeting with your children's school, going to the bank has to occur within the same hours that you work. Trust us, we have the same issue at least once per week. Therefore, we do offer Saturday and Sunday appointments made at least 72 hours in advance. The is no charge for this either. 

This depends on many factors but mainly your ability to pay. For example, if you owe $20,000 to the IRS and have a primary and vacation home, five vehicles, two jet skis, a boat and an income of $250,000 per year, then the likelihood of the IRS or state lowering or eliminating your balance is not very good. However, if you, with our assistance can show that paying the tax debt is impossible or that it will place great financial burden upon you, then there is a lot more negotiating room. We will be upfront with you. If your resolution specialist feels that retaining us is essentially a waste of your resources, they will tell you. That may sound counterintuitive. However, we are in this business to help you. We are not here to take advantage of your situation or add to your financial burden. 

Firstly, dealing with the IRS or state taxing authority is not a fast-moving process. We cannot provide a time frame to resolution. We work to resolve each cast and quickly and efficiently as possible. We focus on quality and not quantity.
